A miniature sketch of a tune that I put together a few weeks ago. Will have to rework it into something much longer, since the main drum loop is pretty awesome and can go into lots of territory. A friend said it has a Ratatat vibe to it; I concur.

Deerhoof
Back in 2005, Deerhoof issued a challenge to its fans. Download a file of mp3s of the building blocks (bass parts, vocals, drum tracks, etc.) to the new song “Rrrrrrright” and use them to make remixes, which could then be submitted to the band’s website and posted for all the world to enjoy. Of course, I had to see what kind of damage I could do.
This is the end result, which I discovered today while digging through an old hard drive.
